11 months old!

In just 8 days we will be celebrating the twins' 1st bday on May 24th! 2 weeks from today we will be having their big Prince Bday Bash at our favorite park & pavillion. They are so excited for their Nana to come for a whole week and get their 1 year portraits done, 1 year check-up, the zoo, their 1st haircut, the park, & the pool! We loved the sweet baby stage, but we are having so much fun with the twins' at this age! Everyone who has twins is right-they told me it doesn't get easier, just different challenges come with the different age ranges and it is very true! We will be saying good bye to double the bottles and double the formula, but hello to both of them going in different directions, fighting over toys, but the best part is watching their bond, friendship, and love for each other grow everyday! They love playing together and it is hilarious to watch them get into things together and make each other laugh! Fun times!

Mom, I need a haircut, please!

I am trying to hold off to get the twins' 1st haircut at Snip-its until their first birthday and when my Mom comes next week so she can be there for it. Meanwhile, Jackson is about to not be able to see because he has so much hair! Colton has little curls in the back. I know they are going to look like such big boys when it gets cut next week!

Publix!

I can FINALLY shop at Publix with the twins in a cart! Until the twins could sit up, Brandon and I both had to go to the store together-one would push the double stroller and one would push the cart, or I would go late at night or Tuesday when the twins are at MMO. Eventually, we got the double cart seat holder which we could use at BJ's and Costco but they are the only places that have the double seat in the cart. Publix has these cute "car" carts but the boys weren't ready to sit in them until now bc they are just supported by one little strap. It was a fun and exciting moment to finally be able to take them to Publix by myself! Don't I have an adorable view when I am shopping!?

Twins' First Chuck E. Cheese experience!

The twins had their first Chuck E. Cheese playdate! It is fun knowing that I once had a birthday party there and they really enjoyed it! It was a challenge having them crawling in two different directions and took some tricks to figure out how to get them both in the rides by myself, but it worked out and they had a great time and loved meeting Chuck E. Cheese!

Biltmore Wedding with Stylish Stems

A few weeks ago, I helped Heather with a wedding at the Biltmore. Heather owns Stylish Stems and did the amazing flowers for my wedding and is now one of my best friends! She lives close to us and we love hanging out and getting our kiddies together. She is like my big sister! She had a big wedding at The Biltmore, so I helped her out and it turned out beautiful! She is so talented and crafty! She is like the Atlanta version of Martha Stewart!

Playdates in the ATL!

We feel very fortunate to have so many close friends who we have known for years who live in Atlanta. I truly believe it takes a village of teachers, friends, neighbors, and family to raise good children. We do 2-3 playdates a week with different friends and their kids and it is so wonderful to have known these friends for so many years and also for years to come. Here is a playdate from Mall of GA last week with my former OMS teacher friends who also stay at home with their lil ones for now. Next week, we are heading to the Atlanta Zoo with Stephanie, Jack, and Ethan. We got annual passes with some other friends so we are excited about going several times!
