Sandy Hook Sadness-making lemonade out of some REALLY bad lemons

Couldn't sleep last night with the images of those sweet babies & educators on my mind. I decided the best way to heal my broken heart is to make some kind of positivity come from this horrific act of violence so Brandon & I decided to do 26 acts of kindness/good deeds for the next 26 days in honor of each person who lost their life. I despise this feeling of hopelessness and this puts some hope back in our hearts while doing something good for someone else in memory of the victims. I hope everyone finds their own way to mend their hearts & remember there are still lots of good hearted people in our world!

Cherubs Christmas Performance

The Cherubs Choir had their Christmas performance and it was just beyond precious! Colton got selected to play Joseph with his friend, Kelly who played Mary. Jackson was a shepherd in blue and they couldn't have been more excited or cuter!

2nd Annual North Pole Breakfast!

We had a VERY busy Sunday the day after we returned from West VA for Thanksgiving...decorated for Christmas inside & outside, worked on Colton's All About Me Project, North Pole Breakfast, & the boys performed handbells & a song at The Sights & Sounds of Advent Christmas event at our church!

One down, one to go!

After our house got struck by the flu, we now have one back to his healthy self and at school, one still sick and on the mend! Whew! It's been a rough few, sleepless days/nights at our home, but so glad I can be here 24/7 to snuggle with my sweet, precious babies!

Family Photo Shoot @ Red Top Mountain

We had our Christmas Family Photo Shoot at the beautiful Red Top Mountain. Luckily, the weather in Georgia has been 70-75 degrees all the way through December so it was a perfect afternoon! The dogs were excited to be a part of our photo shoot, although Chad has lost his hearing now, so it made it a tad more difficult! Even Charlie the Bear made it to the photo shoot! In case you are wondering, Brandon was extra chipper for this photo shoot because I took him to the Falcons game afterwards! ha ha!
