We did our annual Dec. 1st Southern tradition of visiting Santa at Phipps Plaza! The twins had a great time and I loved seeing all the little boys in Jon-Jons, knee socks, bow ties, and little girls in smocked dresses & bows bigger than the size of their heads! We followed our visit with Santa by having lunch at The Tavern-it was such a special day for our family. Oh, and I stood right next to Brain Litterell from the Backstreet Boys with his wife & son! Jackson & Colton sat on Santa's lap right after his son so that was pretty cool & surreal! Later that day, The Elf on the Shelf, Archie, arrived at our house & this year he brought the twins a special train from The North Pole to go around the Christmas tree as well as the movie, The Polar Express. Needless to say, the theme of the Gore household this month has been the North Pole Train, Polar Express, & Archie the Elf. Jackson & Colton have so much fun finding him every morning in all the funny spots he shows up after reporting back to Santa each night! We started the advent calendar where each day we do something special involving the Christmas season. The twins had their awesome Christmas Performance & Christmas Party at preschool and it was just magical! I love Christmas with all of it's traditions & festivities, and especially because there are so many fun ways to teach the twins about the birth of Jesus!
