After discussing with several friends, I have decided that now that I have the twins and several relatives, friends, and most importantly, my parents, who live in different states, a blog would be a fun way to update everyone on our family, especially milestones for the twins. I also felt that a blog would be a unique way to document the fun, everyday occurances for the boys. I am working diligently to keep up with two baby books at one time as well as a journal for each baby, but sometimes typing is the quickest way for me to document things! At this point the twins are now 9 months old! They had their 9 month appt. yesterday, JP weighing in at 23.1 lbs. and 29 inches and CA weighing in at 23.6 lbs. and 29 1/2 inches. Both are 85% for weight and 75% for height. Gotta love those future UGA football players!
The twins have become quite the travelers! By the time they were just 6 months old they had already been to NINE states which included: Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennesee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, and West Virginia! They had their first beach trip to San Destin, Flordia (our favorite summer beach vacation spot!) at 5 months old and they just had their 1st trip to the in-laws St. George Island Beach house for a week in Feburary. The twins are typical Gore boys, were out on the boat when they were just newborns and enjoy wearing their little life jackets from Uncle Michael and Aunt Lisa. At St. George Island, they went on their first boat ride in the ocean, because so far, they have only been on boats on the lakes! We trained them early in regards to sleep, eating, and their schedule so we have had the luxury and pay off of being able to do many fun things with the boys since we have well-trained and well-rested babies! Woo hoo!
In other big news, some of my girls and I went to see my favorite (it's a tie between her and JLO), Britney Spears last night on her 2nd night of her new tour in Atlanta! What a fun and great concert! It was my 2nd time seeing her in concert and just as fun as the first time!
